The kind people at the FCC are concerned about the quality of news that the American people are getting. Therefore it only makes sense that that FCC puts agents into news rooms get the official story from the state. We don’t want any crazy theories being spread about do we? Thank goodness for the federal government. What would we do without them.

Edward Snowden sat down for an interview with German television network ARD. The interview has been intentionally blocked from the US public, with virtually no major broadcast news outlets covering this story. In addition, the video has been taken down almost immediately every time it’s posted on YouTube.
Great for this citizen of Texas. He stood up for his rights against some small town police. Thank goodness there was video. All police should be required to have video both in their cars and on their person at all times recording. I think the only reason these cops did not behave worse was because there was a video. If there was not a video many police would have likely bashed his face into the cement and charged him with assault. He would have been physically beat up and would have had to pay fines and lawyer fees. Not to mention the psychological trauma of what has been told was your protector turning into your assailant. Thankful he did his own defense and there was a camera. This has inspired me to read some of the books that he mentions at the end of the video. After all, nobody cares about your defense as much as you.
Make sure you watch the video all the way through. The prosecutor who was a jerk before admits that “sometimes” we do live in a jackboot society. I think many people in the legal system deep down want to confess on how corrupt it is. I have meet many lawyers that have told me the same thing. I have been told that public defenders are often alcoholics because of all the corruption they see on a daily basis. The legal system will smash you. It will chew you up. If you are going to stand up for your rights make sure you know what you are doing and make sure there is video!

This woman makes some compelling claims.
I was always kind of liked the Daily Show. I thought they were misguided left-wingers but sincere people unlike those hacks at MSNBC who simply back whatever the Democrats do. They seemed to be one of the only places to give Ron Paul a decent shack unlike the mainstream networks. Now it seems that they are destroying their previously decent track record with their interview with Peter Schiff. I personally like Peter Schiff. He was the person that made me aware of Austrian Economics. His views are almost identical to that of Ron Paul. Ron Paul would have the same objections to the minimum wage. So why attack Peter Schiff but leave Ron Paul alone? Probably because the Daily Show knows that attacking Ron Paul would alienate a huge number of their viewers while Schiff is not as well known to the public or their audience.
I am in great debt to Peter Schiff for introducing me to the Austrian School of Economics. I hope the people at the Daily Show will read some Austrian Economics and maybe change their false belief that raising the minimum wage helps the poor. Schiff’s response is in the video below.
Levin is a statist pure and simple. He is for the national ID card and all manner of expansion of Federal Power along the lines of the police state. The tragedy is that he has millions of listeners who are duped into believing he has a conservative’s respect for the Constitution.
Recently Mark Levin has been calling people idiots for supporting state nullification. This from a supposed conservative. This is just one more example of how mainstream conservatives are not really conservatives at all. In the video below Tom Woods challenges Levin to a debate. Levin will never debate Tom Woods.

The great Tom Woods! No way can explain the inter-workings of the police state in such an uplifting manner like Tom Woods. Now I know why the police have hard time catching murderers but seem to excellent at harassing the public. I always sort of expected some of these reasons but Tom Woods lays it out in such a great way it is now obvious to me. The police really do not have much a motive to catch murderers. Especially when low murder conviction rate is under reported. But the drug war! That is where the money is! Police departments do not get federal money for catching murderers, rapists, and other dangerous criminals but non-violent drug offenders better watch out! This is because of the staggering amount of money linked to the drug war. The more drug convictions, the more money and grants flow from the federal government. Most of these grants seem come in the form military weapons and equipment so that our average peace officer is bristling with more firepower than a Marine in the Battle of Fallujah. Human nature being what it is, police start acting like they are exactly that when dealing with the civilian population of the U.S.
